As a former high school English teacher, I have spent the past couple of decades capitalizing on written communication. Managing marketing/communication strategies and the editorial process for small firms has been my primary passion, along with general operations and project management.

My work for a large health insurer, a human resources consulting firm, a leadership development content creator, a legal marketing firm, and two non-profit organizations gave me outstanding opportunities to create and develop strategies for internal and external marketing communications, including social media content and email marketing, using a variety of tools.

I have managed the execution of large-scale, multi-site training programs and marketing events, and supported the sales process by writing and editing proposals and PowerPoints. On the operations side, I manage assessments on a variety of platforms, dive deep into research for new course content, and manage our use of online platforms. Always a word geek, I love ‘track changes’, AP Style, and reading documents backward to ensure accuracy.

I earned a BA in English from Michigan State University and am a lifelong learner who devours webinars on the latest tech tools.
