As a results-oriented, hands-on leadership & organizational development professional, I have worked with individuals, business professionals, and corporate teams. My experience spans the manufacturing, academia, government, non-profit and service industries. I have also coached many individuals through personal career exploration, development, and transition. My intuition, persistence and motivating style have proven to be valuable in my work with both individuals and teams.
Core competencies include:
I firmly believe that while innate abilities are useful, leadership can be learned and improved. My diverse background has afforded me the opportunity to gain perspective on many environments and company cultures.
I earned my undergraduate degree and MBA from Saginaw Valley State University and promptly began my career at General Motors Corporation. After 22 years in manufacturing and service industries, I took the leap and left a corporate position to follow my passion. It all started with the position of Director of Leadership Development at Lawrence Technological University. My career as an Executive Coach and Professional Facilitator evolved from there. The transition was easy with my natural understanding of people, instincts, intuition, and talent for relationship management. I truly value making a difference in people’s lives, which ultimately led me to where I am today.
